From the first half of the 1970s until the dawn of the 1990s, Rolex fitted two new chronographs to the Daytona Cosmograph: the Rolex 6263 and the 6265. The Rolex 6265, compared to the previous models, boasts a larger crown and the return of the screw-down pushers, a modification made to allow the watch to be more water-resistant.
The bezel of the Rolex 6265 was made of metal with an engraved tachymeter scale, unlike that of the Rolex Daytona 6263 which was printed in white on a black plastic background.
This second-hand Rolex reference 6265 watch has the following features:
Steel case and bracelet
Black dial slightly turned to brown “Big Eyes”
First series Millerighe keys
