CARTIER TANK ASYME’TRIQUE SKELETON – ORO ROSA 18 CARATI – COLLECTION PRIVE’ LIMITED EDITION

The Cartier Tank Asymètrique was presented for the first time in 1936 , as it seems like an inclined model of Tank, the Asymètrique was thought as an indipendent collection. Fro this reason it was called at the begining “Losange” or “Parallèlogramme”.
The Dial was turned of 30 grades and was mount with a bracelet tha can permit to follow the case inclination.
The watch with this design was not so strange at that time and was thinked to make more easy the reading of the time when the owner was driving his car.
In 1966 was presented the first re-edition that was integrated in the Tank collection.
In 2006 the Cartier Collection Privèe of Paris release a new model of Asymètrique applying certain adjustments, like the lugs that pass from two to three for the both side and the hands that was used the Breguet ones.
The Magistral Cartier Tank Asymètrique Skeleton was presented at Watch&Wonders in 2020.
