Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 6262 – Black Dial with Blue Daytona Writing – Excellent Conditions

The Rolex Daytona ref. 6262 replaced the previous Cosmograph ref. 6239 different only regarding the movement. Both references (ref. 6262 and 6264) were only produced for a few years and were the last Daytona references to feature pump pushers, with their screw-type counterparts (ref. 6263 and 6265) quickly surpassing them in popularity.
The black dial with recessed white subdials is known to collectors as the “reverse panda” dial due to its resemblance to the white face of a giant panda.
