In 1945, Rolex introduced its very first automatic wristwatch with a chronometer that displayed the date on an aperture of the dial. Made to celebrate the Brand's 40th anniversary, the model would evolve into one of the most iconic Rolex models of all time. This watch is now nicknamed “Ovettone” due to its resemblance to an egg.
Over time, the reference 4467 has become a cult among collectors, becoming a point of reference in the history of Rolex.
