The second Daytona series had the movement supplied by Zenith, furthermore, after the brand was sold to another company, the movement underwent a modification by an engineer named Charles Vermot and became known as the Zenith El Primero.

Released in 1988 and produced until 2000, the second series Daytona is what gave us the foundation of the contemporary Daytona aesthetic.
