ROLEX DAYTONA REFERENCE 6262 – BLACK PAUL NEWMAN DIAL – MUSKETIER – FOLDED OYSTER BRACELET
Rare chronograph in steel, diameter 37mm, Ref. 6262 with Paul Newman dial.
At Rolex, 1970 was marked by the launch of two Cosmograph references: 6262 with a silver bezel and 6264 with an acrylic bezel. Very similar to the previous generation, these two references were equipped with the improved caliber 727. As is often the case in production, the new reference was launched while the spare parts of the previous one were still available, so some of the first models produced, such as the current, they use an exotic Panda Paul Newman dial. Both references were only produced for a few years and were the last Daytona references to feature push-buttons, with their screw-down counterparts (refs 6263 and 6265) quickly overtaking them in popularity.
This rare Daytona Reference 6262, distinguishes itself from the other “paul Newman” Dial for the dimension of the ring in the chronographs. The rarity mix of the limited production of the reference and the extremely rare dial configuration made this Daytona 6262 a very sought after and unique watch.
The Rolex Daytona reference 6262 Paul Newman “Musketier” dial had the following features:
Case in Steinless Steel
Stainless Steel Oyster Folded Bracelet
Paul Newman “Musketier” Dial
This Vintage Rolex Paul Newman reference 6262 luxury watch is available at our Milan Boutique.
