One of the most beautiful and rare chronographs produced by Rolex is the reference 6238.
The Rolex Chronograph ref. 6238, being the first chronograph of modern design created by the Maison, precedes the entry into production of the famous Rolex Cosmograph Daytona by a few years. Precisely for this reason it is known among collectors by the nickname Pre-Daytona.
It is the last chronograph from Rolex to have a smooth bezel and a tachymetric scale on the dial, a solution abandoned in the models that followed it, exporting the tachymetric scale to the bezel.
