Launched in 1963, the Cosmograph Daytona was originally developed to meet the reliability and precision needs of racing drivers. As a tribute to the legendary Daytona Beach speed races, a special edition was launched, nicknamed Beach for its playful appearance. This model was available in four colors: green, blue, pink and yellow, with dials in turquoise, green chalcedony and yellow and pink mother-of-pearl, and with leather straps in the same color as the dial.
