Rolex Daytona 6239 – Champagne Paul Newman Dial – 18K Yellow Gold – Excellent Conditions

A model that joins the famous 6238, it is the first to feature the wording “Cosmograph” on the dial. It is the first reference to have the tachymetric scale engraved externally on the steel bezel and no longer shown internally on the dial. The movement used was the 72b until 1965 which was replaced in a very short time by the new caliber 722; from around 1967 until the end of production the new caliber 722-1 will be used.
