ROLEX GMT MASTER II SO CALLED “FAT LADY” NO DATE WITH TROPICAL DIAL
Immediately recognisable by its coloured bezel, the story of the Rolex GMT- Master began in the 1950s when transatlantic flights began to increase considerably in North America.
At the time, the Pan-American line was looking for a watch that would be a reliable instrument and allow pilots to keep their course during different time zones clearly and quickly.
The nickname Fat Lady appeared to accommodate Calibre 3085 because the steel case of the Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 16760 is considerably thicker than its predecessors.
The current Rolex GMT-Master II reference 16760 displays the following features
Stainless steel case and bracelet
“Pepsi” bezel
Tropical NO date dial
Sapphire crystal
