Tudor Submariner 7928 – Brown Gilt Dial – Brown Faded Bezel – Excellent Conditions
In 1959 Tudor introduced the reference 7928, which was in production for approximately 10 years. The main changes of this reference compared to its predecessors were the adoption of a larger case, from 37 to 39 mm, and the introduction of crown guards influenced by the needs of the French Navy.
The Tudor Submariner 7298 was initially equipped with square 6mm crown guards, followed from 1961 by pointed guards and, later, a refined rounded shape that would be retained for future models.
The present example of Tudor reference 7298 boasts the following features:
“Tropical” bezel insert
Brown “Tropical” Square with Gilt Graphics
Original riveted Oyster bracelet
